Christmas in Chelmsford
Civic Centre receptions and switchboard will be closing at 1.30pm on 24 December 2008. Council offices will reopen at 8.45am on Friday 2 January 2009. North Chelmsford Area Action Plan
The Borough Council has published the North Chelmsford Area Action Plan Preferred Options Document for consultation. This Local Development Framework (LDF) document deals with the development of two new neighbourhoods in the North of Chelmsford and will deliver planned growth of around 4,000 new homes. It will also cover the northern suburbs of urban Chelmsford, including Springfield, as well as the villages of Broomfield, Great Waltham and Little Waltham.
