Free Swimming Scheme for Chelmsford's Over 60s
Chelmsford Borough Council is launching a special new free swimming scheme at Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre and South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre from 1 April 2009, exclusively for residents aged over 60 who live within the borough.

Celebrating International Day of Disabled People
The International Day of Disabled People will be celebrated in Chelmsford on Wednesday 3 December at the Marconi Athletic & Social Club, Beehive Lane, between 10am - 2pm. International Day has been recognised and celebrated since the 1980s - this year's theme is Dignity & Justice for All of Us, which ties in with the 60th anniversary of the UN Convention on Human Rights.
