Coming up in June is your chance to create your very own computer generated animation, in a one-day taster session aimed at anyone interested in computer based design, artists looking for a new direction or those who have an interest in animation and would like to explore the subject further. Animations surround us throughout our daily lives; from TV to the internet through to interactive displays and video games. This one day workshop will introduce you to the possibilities of animation. The Introduction To Creating Digital Art taster session is held in the design studios at Writtle College, Chelmsford on Sunday 7 June between 10am and 4pm and costs just £30.00. Participants will be given an introduction to the history of animation taking us up to modern day techniques, an overview of the digital tools and software needed to create animation and following lunch, the chance to create a piece of digital animation, which can be taken home on disk to impress friends and family.
