Dovedale sports centre is open to everybody. You can be a regular sports person or an occasional participant. Please make sure that you check the Customer Notices page which will list any changes to the standard opening / closing times for the Centre. The Centre does operate an optional membership scheme, which makes your visit cheaper and also offers booking privileges.
The standard opening times are as follows: Essex County Council Term Time- Monday, from 5pm to 11pm
- Tuesday, from 5pm to 11pm
- Wednesday, from 5pm to 11pm
- Thursday, from 5pm to 11pm
- Friday, from 5pm to 11pm
- Saturday, from 9am to 5.30pm
- Sunday, from 9am to 10pm
Essex County Council School Holiday Time- Monday, from 9am to 11pm
- Tuesday, from 9am to 11pm
- Wednesday, from 9am to 11pm
- Thursday, from 9am to 11pm
- Friday, from 9am to 11pm
- Saturday, from 9am to 5.30pm
- Sunday, from 9am to 10pm
These times are subject to variation depending on bookings and events.
Peak Times- Weekdays (Monday to Friday), from 5pm to close
Off Peak Times- Weekends (Saturday and Sunday), all day
